From the time I was a child, I have loved writing. After Abby died I always felt like I would at some point write a book for children about the hope of heaven and how God walks with us in our grief. I came up with the name, Splashes of Red. In the fall of 2025 I signed a publishing contract with Abundance Books with a release date of July 15, 2025.
I have hired a brilliant artist to illustrate my book. Archie Damschen is a high schooler I met in our local home school program. He brings so much creativity and brings the book to life in so many special ways. I am so excited to introduce you to him and his work.
